Notifications from Firefox 65.0.2 are still using 'Web Push notifications in Firefox' per https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/push-notifications-firefox even though there were numerous blog posts back in Oct 2018 saying that firefox would show up in Windows10 'Get notifications from these senders' . Firefox 65.0.2 does not nor does 66. The problem with Web Push notifications is that if you are not looking at the computer screen at the time you can miss those types of notifications all together.

UPDATE:
In Firefox 29.00 and above versions, the below solutions may not work. Firefox has also changed its core theme. If you want to get the old theme back and also want tabs to show below the Address-Bar then the solution is to use Classic Theme Restorer add-on.
Another way to solve this issue is to use Tabs on bottom add-on. It requires no browser restart and you do not need to set any complicated options. Install this plugin and enjoy using Firefox the way you want it.
Firefox new design is sleek!
The theme restorer plugin brings back the old Firefox design and features, where the second add-on does just one job; it puts tabs below address-bar. I personally use the first-one because I like the old Firefox design. The new look and features are fancy indeed, but they reduce productivity of this browser for power-users.
For an average PC user, the new Firefox design is certainly an improvement because it looks much cooler now. For programmers, web-designers, webmasters, and other power-users, looks don’t matter much; they want a fast browser that can help them do their work in a quick and effective manner. Fortunately, Firefox gives us total-freedom when it comes to customizing it. Furthermore, we don’t need to write any code, or make an add-on because developers have done that for us. We just need to find the right plugin and install it.

Question:
Firefox has made lot of changes in the past few updates, one of which was moving the Tabs to the top. How can I move them back below the address bar, like they were in the past?
Answer:
Method 1:
Open Firefox: right click on blank space in front of the last Tab. Here, uncheck the following option:
Tabs On Top
That’s it! Tabs should now show below the address bar.
Method 2:
Open Firefox and type the following [without quotes] in the address bar:

“about:config”
If a warning message shows up, click on:
“I'll be careful, I promise”
In top-left corner, a Search Bar will show up. Type the following;
tabs.ontop
This will show you one entry in the main window. Double-click on it to change its value to False.

Until now, I’ve managed to find ways to keep my tabs on the bottom, but a recent computer issue did something to Firefox (probably forced an upgrade I didn’t want), and now the tabs are back on top. I’ve tried all three links in Mel’s post, and every time I get a plain screen that says only “Internal Server Error.” I am now on Firefox 49.0.2. Does anyone have any suggestions for getting my tabs back on the bottom?
Thanks!
